New Cons

senior neocons now say they wouldn't have pushed for the invasion of Iraq if they knew how poorly it would be carried out by the Bush administration.

History will flay these ship-jumping rats, along with the captains, and trumpet the illegitimacy of the invasion.

It will go down as one of the most ill-conceived military adventures.

Do you seriously think they are on the way out? Will the Dem's do any diferent?

Maybe they will be more inclined to 'err on the side of caution' in the future.

But somehow I doubt it.

& to your point, Dave: No I'm not convinced that the Dems would have been much better... but then again, there's another example of 'err on the side of caution' ie - Vote Democratic.

Beyond that, fuck them all.

Dems see the world through entirely different eyes. Don't buy into the horseshit that they are remotely the same. The system stinks, and only makes it seem so. Perhaps the honest moderates are somewhat similar, but they're fairly rare.

We need a change in worldview in the halls of power.

The system needs meaningful change. There are too many schmucks in politics. The system weeds out colorful people, and too many people of sincere vision.

Anyone who beats the Liberal/Conservative drum is a charlatan. Listen closely for meaningful rhetoric, not sloganeering. It's easy to weed-out the crooks.

I predict the Dems will run the table.

and that will change what?

There is an unchecked diabolical cabal manipulating power...promoting policy and hidden agendas potentially dooming us all.

You want me to list the egregious examples? It's truly appalling.

If Dems succeed in getting an honest vote count, and there is a resulting balance of power, at least there's a chance for sordid hidden facts to be revealed, and more corruption to be squelched by courts, etc. The convicted co-conspirators are adding up, and that is just the tip of the iceberg. If the Dems get the bit in their teeth...watchout.

It's time to look under the rug and clean house. We desperately need a fresh start.

Cynicism is pointless.

Yeah, only we thought Blair was going to do that. "The Third way" he called it.

That was an insult and a betrayal to the real Third Way.

Who can figure Blair's actions? They must really have something on him. I was never so wrong about a politician.

Like I said, cynicism is pointless, we've got to fight the good fight.
