Its probably best if I don't write anything just yet. I've got a very different story to the ones I've been reading anyway. I'll write more after sentencing. Meanwhile, here's some music.

Mousa Brown was found not guilty but would I be right in saying that the jury found him not guilty due to "insufficient evidence"?
No. I didn't see him take the stand but the court reporter who did told me that he gave a very good account of himself. He said that in his experience of court reporting Juries clear people who they like.
You are telling me the jury "liked" MB? Unbelievable!!!
Thats what the court reporter told me. He sounded pretty convinced himself. I never met him.
Who Really Is Moussa Brown?
Who really is Moussa Brown? This is the question I’m asking myself after he was found not guilty of terrorism charges yesterday. If Osama bin London was found guilty, why and how did the jury reach a verdict of not guilty in the case of Moussa Brown? Or can we just put it down to “insufficient evidence” to convict him but he is still complicit in acts of training for terrorism?
I’m not one who buys into conspiracies, but I must confess I’m tempted to consider it in the case of Moussa Brown. If I’m honest, it must be due to my bias towards him – I have never liked him – we have had several ‘runnings’ at speakers’ corner.
Okay, this is what I’m thinking (or wish): Moussa Brown [actually] agreed to turn ‘pigeon’ for the boys from the ‘circus’. If I’m honest again, I really don’t know!
But, what I do know albeit from my limited contacts with Moussa Brown (in the park) is that both him and Osama bin London were like two peas in a pod; they shared the same Islamist political views on British foreign policy: ‘going into Iraq and Afghanistan’ justifies bringing terrorism to the UK, and they bought into the same conspiracy theories on 9/11, 7/7 (and made a small fortune form selling DVDs in the park). My favourite conspiracy of theirs was the one about Tony Blair sacrificing new born babies in 10 Downing Street. According to them, Blair use to have new born babies for dinner.
I guess in the end I mustn’t allow my disgust for Islamists to get in the way of justice. If Moussa Brown is innocent so be it – British justice has prevailed. Hopefully, I will see Moussa Brown down at speakers’ corner defending Osama bin London that British justice failed his Islamist buddy or he might even surprise me by getting on the ladder to denounce acts of terrorism that are being perpetrated by Islamists.
If your reading this Moussa Brown why not come down to the park, as the “regular hecklers” (and you know who we are) would love to reminisce with you about the old days when we use to heckle you and Osama bin London and you would accuse us of being paid informants of Thames House (how wrong you both were)?
I was wondering myself whether you'd see him in Speakers corner. I would guess not.

So they had five foocking months of:

i.e A load of idiots talking shit and arseing about to absolutely no effect. In the whole two years they were being watched, they didn't manage to get together any plot, yet they:
* Agree to appear on television
* Get paid for appearing on television
* Tell BBC reporter Nasreen Suleaman about their 21/7 pals (who then fails to inform the police).....

“Reading the papers”, yes I guess anyone who has an interest in seeing Islamists put behind bars must have read the papers over the past couple of days. It would be helpful if we could read the views of Mrs Ahmet and Hamid’s daughters. In this entire sad saga, it’s Mrs Ahmet and Hamid’s daughter that I feel for and I pray that the compassionate Allah comforts them.
On the subject of Hamid’s daughter, I could never understand why in God’s name he would bring his kid to the park and put her through all the ridicule and hatred that followed him around when he got on the ladder.
I'm not sure which kid you are referring to, This one has kids of her own and is a tough cookie. I'm sure your concern for both her and Mrs Ahmet is genuine, as I say I will post about them after sentencing.
Hamid use to bring his daughter who couldn’t be more than five in 2005/2006 to the park. I often felt bad at times the way I treated [heckled] him in the presence of the kid but he didn’t seem to care. No matter what my feelings are for Hamid an others it can’t be easy for their families. One can only imagine what they will be going through. Look forward to your posts after sentencing.

I know that guy too! He's a great chap – ex squaddie – and liberal minded. He (I won’t mention his name) argues that "we all come together" [all faiths and races]. His stand is called the Cogers at Speakers' Corner. All-round decent chap!
There are also many others that I recognise from the link. Given that I didn’t attend the trial I couldn’t help you but do remember some of the people (in the link) saying they would be going to give evidence on behalf of Hamid.
Personally, I think they (a guy in row 1 and the Irish ‘blonde’ in row 11) were just trying to impress, which is not uncommon at Speakers’ Corner. Anyway, why does it matter? They were only giving character references, no?

I know the guy too! He’s an idealist! He thinks HE can solve the problems of the world by getting people to “talk”. What nonsense!
The link has some of the regulars at the park. If you read one of my posts (sometime last year – I think October) I mentioned in it that some people from the park were going around saying that they were going to give evidence on behalf of Hamid having met with his solicitor and with the Beeb journo (NS). As much as I know that these individuals are very pro-Islamists, I don’t think they are that stupid to give [false] character references in court. Dave Bone's view was that they would be cross-examined.

What is wrong with getting people to talk? Its got to be better than shook=ting each other. I didn't know he was ex-forces and I don't know him in the context of speakers corner.

OK. Gotcha. Yes. I think the blonde is an Irish lady who gave evidence. She said Hamid got a lot of grief from Muslims for talking to her. they went for coffee some times.
There’s nothing wrong in getting people to “talk”. Resolving conflicts doesn’t always mean pursuing effortlessly the need to “talk” when “talking” obviously not working. Dave (that’s his name) from the Cogers is too idealistic for my liking. I do believe he’s a good chap and we get on well despite our differing political views. He did some tours in Northern Ireland.
As for the Irish person (if it’s the one I’m thinking of), I think it was a bit shameful for anyone to give evidence with the aim of misrepresenting Hamid (in front of the jury) no matter ones views about HMG and its foreign policy or the perceived ‘policy towards Muslims’ in the UK. When her pro-Islamist group started mouthing off in the park about how they were going to give evidence on behalf of Hamid and that they knew him to be innocent (like Abu Hamza, Abu Qatada, Andrew Rowe, 7/7 bombers and the 21/7 bombers), a old hat heckler told me that in the end their (the ‘hang-on’, which is the name some of the hecklers have given this person) evidence wouldn’t count for much. I knew that some were outraged and were planning to protest at their pro-Islamist group (hang-on plus others) giving evidence based on the fact that they had an agenda (which I won’t go into here, as we are hoping that something else will evolve shortly which will expose them).
As for the claim that she got a “lot of grief,” if it’s the same person I’m thinking of that’s a load of cobblers and damn nonsense! Both she and ‘someone else’ (a well known speaker) are known to be one of the few overt sympathisers of Islamists in the park and the Islamist ideology in general (you should hear there views of Hezobollah). The Islamists get on well [extremely well] with them. So, there was no way Hamid would get flack from other Muslims for talking to her, as she was on there side (or at least appeared to when in the park).
Right. I thought she was a passer by who had befriended him. I had better be a bit careful here as I'm not sure it was the same woman. Looks like her though. yeah, Dave is a cool guy who has very similar views to mine.
I tried to contact him during the trial wondering what his contribution to all this would be if any.
I ran into him a few days ago, he reckoned Hamid would have trouble tieing shoelaces.
It sounds like her! Dave from the park is cool. The world needs more people like him but sadly it full of rightwing [tight arses] like myself who are realistic when it comes to war and peace. I really have a good banter with him especially during the summer.
As per not tieing his shoelaces, many had that view in the park.
