EXTRADITION

Westminster magistrates have given the Home Secretary a month to decide if extraditing the Muslim cleric Abu Hamza al-Masri to the US to stand trial on terror charges breaches his human rights. The court earlier ruled that the cleric, serving seven years for inciting murder and race hate, should be extradited.

What do you make of this claim by the Beeb that AQ has launched an AQ in Britain website for extremist? According the Beeb, Jihadis have a special password to get into the site.

We are at war in two Muslim countries. If we were at war in the same way in two Buddhist countries we would have Buddhists setting fire to themselves in the street. Muslims have different rules about violence and revenge which not all of them translate the same way but some of them are going to translate very simply.

While we are at war in two Muslim countries we will be at risk from small groups of Muslims. If we escalate this war I worry that this threat will increase.

Do send us a link to the BBC piece you are referring to

It was reported on last nite's newsnight. They had Dame Pauline Neville-Jones on, responding to the claim. Apparently, the scurity services are aware of this 'new website' and are calling it "aspirational". Afterwards, I tried searching the Beeb website and other intell sites for more info but nothing came up. I'll check again today.

It's still not there, but Gordon Corera will be reporting a similar story tonight on newsnight. The lucky Jihadist was only given 16yrs in Belmarsh (without no internet access).
