London police have released two of 14 people who were arrested on suspicion of planning acts of terrorism.
Police say the two men were released late Tuesday without charges. Twelve suspects remain in custody. The group was detained in London Saturday in raids on a suspected terrorist training network.
British authorities can hold three of the suspects without charge until Wednesday, and nine others until Friday. Authorities must decide whether to charge the suspects, release them or ask a judge for more time to question them. British law allows police to detain suspects for up to 28 days without charges.
