Tales from the Front Line

hey friends

I'm still at the climate camp, using a rather wonderful Indymedia web cafe. It's been a great week so far, lots of workshops, autonomous non-heirarchical communal living, connections made, and actions on the local climate criminals and war profiteers.

There were 400 protestors and 4000 police plus Drax security and still a few protestors managed to get onsite! No surprise head of security has been sacked. I hope you've been listening to media reports, we were on the front three pages of the Independent yesterday, and on numerous TV and radio stations. Of course there's also plenty of coverage on Indymedia http://www.indymedia.org.uk/en/actions/2006/climatecamp/

Keep fighting for what you know is right - this camp is more proof that a small group of people with a common objective can make a big difference.

Signing off now to listen to Seize the Day play :)

Peace out

Alex
