FINALLY

Finally I can blog about Big Brother! I've always resisted the urge as its such a personal obsession which is of no consequence- usually. I couldn't believe it seeing George Galloway walking in. This is going to be good.

My money, tommorow morning, will be on a guy called Maggot. If you've got UKTV its on from 1-3 am tonight.

Big Brother on Channel 4

I've always thought the potential of Big Brother in terms of politics and change to be completely untapped and I know that the producer, Mr Bazalgate has had opinions along those lines over the years. I proposed a program to channel 4 a long time ago suggesting locking the kids who protested (article, video) into the big brother house with an internet link and a phoneline to see if they could sort it all out by phoning world leaders while we watched, or if it would all descend into chaos.

"Nice try, was the reply. Not this time, but don't let it put you off trying!!!"

Check this action.

And this new "infallible" lie detector.

The mind boggles at potential abuse.

You don't trust the government?

Indigobusiness said...

It's unAmerican to trust the govt.

Our founding fathers said as much.

We have a patriotic duty not to. To wit: "...all enemies, foreign and domestic"...etc.

Some take patriotism seriously, and see the Constitution as sacred.

I'm glad that they do!

That was just a message from our local sponsors, now back to the other Big Brother.

And you say Jodie is on this show too? Is she going to shag Galloway? They should get Bono on there so he can bore someone else for a while. And maybe my idol Jane Wiedlin, who's a barrel of fun.

BTW, if you want tons of traffic, do Jodie Marsh posts. No one in America has heard of her, sadly, but I get all these strange hits like "jodie marsh fur", "jodie marsh ears", etc

Jodie's fans speak out!

I think the basketball star and the fake celebrity impostor are going to shag each other.

A friend of mine reckons Galloways going to shag the bangladeshi chick who shagged the England football manager.

You heard it here first.

Rightwingsparkle appears to be amongst the crowd who would get angry at a kicked dog for biting.

Intolerance is obscene.

Liberalism slammed by antiChristians is the bane of the modern American socio-political quagmire.

Killing is wrong, but so is provocation.

And I thought this thread was about some TV show.

BTW. never seen any 'reality' tv show. so I can't comment.

Shes a really nice woman. Shes just a Republican innit.

Too many "nice" people are empowering too many not-so-nice people.

DAVE BONES said...

The world over.

It seems to be a symptom of society being so large.

I'm not sure what we are achieving but it is good to communicate with grass roots republicanism.

Hamza's trial starts tomorow. When it is over, or at a point when I can leave it I'm going to try and go to the states to make a film about grass roots republicanism

Yeah, Bones, I've got to hand it to you...I admire the way you manage to engage the full spectrum.

I've been compeled to since Bush got re elected. Mikey used to too when we first started Socialistwanker.

We've enshrined my first outings, (where I first found sparkleland)here

It was fun being insulting for a short while but I thought it was more of a challenge to get somewhere, and the first opportunity for shit loads of people to see inside the minds of those they disagreed with.

I've known Sparkle and BigDog and The Scrutinator for years now and they are friends.

Its strange as we would have passed each other in the street in real life.

I've always had a feeling that something is going to "happen" by accident. I think it could happen from developments like this.

Its always when we get into arguments like the one I linked to when I get most frustrated. I want to scream, but I don't fall out with them. What would be the point?

I like your sludgereport. Very creative.

The gulf is widening and becoming so starkly defined, it is truly remarkable to see cats and dogs living together...so to speak.

Didn't Bill Murray, in Ghostbusters, say that was a sure sign of the Apocalypse?

Civil disagreement is the hallmark of civilization. A rarity these days. My gripe is closed minds, not different views.

Thanks for the kind words about my sludgereport. It just grew out of a clumsy, self-evolving slap at Drudge, and slick websites, and Bushco. It was my hammer and tong jump into the fire of HTML.

(edited for howlers)

cats and dogs? remember this

Amazing thing that and this.
It happened repeatedly.

It's really hard to feature this one.

Something simultaneously disturbing and reassuring about this stuff. Like star-crossed love.

maybe the apocalypse is coming.

The Apocalypse is here.
