Thats cleared that up then

So after much speculation about conspiracy, duping and all that it turns out Mohammad Sidique Khan made a video. (BBC here) in which he clearly states that he is retaliating for the war in Iraq. He holds our society directly responsible for the killing of his brothers and sisters and thinks we need a taste of what our democraticaly elected government has wrought elsewhere.

I wonder if our government will make any effort to deal with extremist philosophy now to make us safer? Like bollocks will they. We can all just sit here and be happy little fucking targets.

Hey! Welcome back! You were gone so long I wondered if you were ok.

I think your BBC link is broken. In the full text, he doesn't mention Iraq once by name. Did I miss something?

"A friend of Khan told the BBC that he had travelled regularly to Pakistan and Afghanistan to attend military training camps." Afghanistan as a military training camp? That's pre-Iraq.

db: I wonder if our government will make any effort to deal with extremist philosophy...

But what should the government do?

Sorry, he doesn't mention Iraq does he, but the conection is pretty clear in what he does say.

As for what should governments do, I think an "Old Labour" government would have had Mo Mowlam, Ken Livingstone and suchlike talking to Mr. Hamza from the start.

If he opposes terrorism in this country, even whilst opposing democracy he is an asset surely?

yeah Mike. I've read Mr Prakash's blog before and seen some of his home movies. Likes blowing things up doesn't he?

Did you leave any comments? I was wondering if any of the anonymous's was you.

I think he's a bit of a dweeb, really, probably really boring person, but it's an interesting blog for all that.

The Fallujah video is really gay, tanks driving around, camera pans lingeringly over boys in uniform, more tanks, more boys in uniform...
